The aim of the concert hall design is to create a place with perfect natural acoustics, suitable for both large orchestras and smaller bands, as well as room in which listeners and musicians can share the experience. The project is focused on creating a true sense of intimacy in space. This is achieved by avoiding a traditional seat arrangement where the scene would be formally placed at one end of the corridor. Instead, the audience is dispersed around the whole scene on two levels to increase the sense of closeness to the stage and intimacy with the performers. It also creates a sense of community, between the audience and performers, as well as between the listeners. Moreover it offers to the viewers a variety of views and experiences. Thanks to such a layout of the room, each of the 650 guests will feel special.

The main idea behind the design of the Cognitarium building was to create a space that would set the direction of development for the possible expansion of the campus, and at the same time bond the existing buildings and the surrounding greenery. Closing the campus from the east side and at the same time creating a new, main axis connecting it with the surroundings, makes it possible to develop a complex of academic buildings in a coherent and organized manner. In this sense, Cognitarium is to be a determinant and a model in creating a new space on the campus of the Koszalin University of Technology.

The new library building is designed to affect its immediate surroundings. Its open character is to attract and focus students, offering the opportunity to meet, but also to work in concentration. The layout of the Cognitarium building refers to the archetypal Dom-Ino House structure created by Le Corbusier, in which only columns play the role of load transfer, creating a characteristic column-plate system with a visible arrangement of the geometric grid of the structural system, thus giving the possibility of any space configuration ( free plan). In terms of impressions, the arrangement refers to Sol LeWitt's spatial structures, which built space with their repeating geometric arrangement. Such a layout responds to the Client request to be open to the possibility of free expansion and adaptation in the future thanks to the creation of a building with a simple and clear structural layout. The heart of the building is the main library hall, Located in the center of a buliding podium is connecting main hallwith the reading room located on the first floor. In the project, we provide for the gradation of the open and closed parts of both the main lending room and the general reading room combined with the part intended for individual work.
