Wooden house next to Konin

The house is an attempt to answer the question of what a house in the middle of the forest should be like. We decided to use wood as a construction and finishing material, both from the outside and inside. The fragmented body of the building, inscribed in the existing forest, is adapted to solar operations and the availability to the house zoning. The diversity in the height of the rooms reflects their character, makes them more intimate or more open.

The house is an attempt to answer the question of what a house in the middle of the forest should should be like. We decided to use wood as a construction and finishing material, both from the outside and inside. The beautiful and young pine forest is an interesting context that will change with every year of house's life in an uncontrolled and unpredictable way. The volumes of the house scattered between it, due to large window openings will illuminate the house through the penetrating light through the forest The house has been designed in a highly energy-efficient way, which will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere and reduce operating costs.
